Ether ETFs log nine days of outflows as Solana streak ends

U.S. spot Ether ETFs recorded $542.1 million in net outflows last week, extending their losing run to nine trading days, while Solana ETFs lost $24.8 million and ended a 14-week inflow streak. The Block’s report on the fund-flow data says the Ether withdrawals were the category’s largest weekly outflow since January; Solana’s were its largest since those funds launched in October 2025.

ETF shares trade on exchanges, but the reported net flow measures money entering or leaving the funds through share creations and redemptions. When investors want more shares, the fund can create them; when shares are redeemed, assets leave. Think of the figure as a weekly tally of deposits minus withdrawals. It tracks demand for the ETF products, not every trade in Ether or Solana themselves.

How long has Ether’s outflow run lasted?

The nine-day streak began on Sept. 29 and amounted to $697.2 million in net outflows, according to The Block’s analysis of SoSoValue data. The funds last recorded an inflow on Sept. 28, when they took in $17.1 million. Tuesday was the largest single outflow day of the latest week: $201.9 million, all from BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust, or ETHA.

ETHA lost $477 million over the week, about 88% of the Ether category’s outflows. Grayscale’s ETHE had the next-largest weekly outflow, at $31.9 million. The nine-day run ties a June streak as the third-longest in the funds’ history; the record is 17 trading days, from May 11 to June 3.

What ended Solana’s 14-week inflow streak?

Solana ETFs recorded outflows in all five trading sessions last week, ending the longest inflow run since the products launched. Their $24.8 million weekly outflow was roughly three times the previous record of $8.9 million. Before this week, the funds had not posted a negative week since late June.

Bitwise’s BSOL accounted for $20.9 million of the category’s outflows, about 84%. Morgan Stanley’s MSOL and Invesco’s QSOL were the only Solana funds to record inflows, taking in a combined $2 million. Two weeks earlier, the Solana funds had drawn a record $188.2 million in one week.

What do the figures show?

They show a sharp reversal in recent ETF flows for both assets: Ether funds saw their worst week since January, while Solana funds ended a 14-week run with their largest weekly outflow since launch. The figures describe money moving into and out of these ETF products; on their own, they do not establish why investors withdrew funds or predict what flows will do next.
